Wenger Walks Away After £50 Million Price Tag For Defender
The Daily Mirror claims that Wenger is pursuing other targets after being quoted a price of £50 million for Shkodran Mustafi. The defender’s club Valencia are in dire need of cash and the paper claims they are looking for a joint-world record fee for a defender (via The Mirror). It’s a deal which seems to have been close to completion for months but Arsenal’s pursuit of Shkodran Mustafi has taken a new turn today.
