New Arsenal Signing Fails To Get Work Permit

Arsenal’s new signing Takuma Asano has been refused a work permit to play for the club. The player was signed from Sanfrecce Hiroshima but has not been given international clearance to take to the field in England (via The Metro). The young Japanese striker agreed to join the Gunners in July in a deal worth around £5 million. The transfer is very much one for the future but this newest revelation means Arsenal fans may have to wait a little bit longer to see their new forward at the Emirates. Takuma Asano failed to meet the Premier League requirements for a permit. The forward has played five times for the Japan first team and also played for their Olympic team in Rio this summer....
