Manchester City transfer news: Turkish giants confirm interest in Arsenal target

Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoglu has confirmed that the Lions are actively pursuing Manchester City's out-of-favour defender Jason Denayer. The 21-year-old defender has been left out of Pep Guardiola's squad for City's opening three games this season. Denayer spent last season out on loan at Galatasaray where he made 28 appearances for the Istanbul giants. Nazifoglu told Eren Sarigul 'I do not think we have an abundance in defence. 'If we can agree with Manchester City [for Jason Denayer] then we can say that.'
