Arsenal have moved into pole position to sign Monaco defender Tisserand according to the Daily Star. Per the source, La Liga minnows Espanyol have pulled out of the race for the defender leaving the Gunners as favourites to complete the transfer. Tisserand has emerged as a defensive target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger after being forced into the market to try and sign a new central defender after losing Per Mertesacker and Gabriel to injury.
