Arsenal 'close to signing Everton target Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna'

Arsenal are reportedly on the verge of signing Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez, who was also a target for Everton. The Gunners have so far failed to increase their spending following the £30m capture of Granit Xhaka in May. A forward player seems to be a top priority for manager Arsene Wenger given that the club pursued Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, but they were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempts.
