Arsene Wenger 'turned down by Antoine Griezmann'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Atletico Madrid frontman Antoine Griezmann during this summer's Euro 2016 tournament in France, according to a report. The long-serving Gunners was back in his homeland working as a commentator and made the most of the opportunity by approaching his countryman with an offer to move to the Emirates. The 25-year-old is thought to have spurned his advances, however, by insisting that he and his family were settled in the Spanish capital and had no desire to move.
