Some Arsenal fans may want Arsene Wenger out but European giants desperate to have him

Arsene Wenger continues to split opinion within the Arsenal ranks, but Paris Saint-Germain have tried on multiple occasions to appoint him as their coach. The two clubs cross paths in the Champions League this week, which in turn is arguably behind the reason as to why the report has come to light now. According to L'Equipe, since their takeover of the club in 2011, Qatar Sports Investments have tried to sign the French tactician three times. The first attempt came in 2011 when Nasser Al-Khelaifi first stepped in, the second bid was in 2013 after Carlo Ancelotti left the French capital, with the third and final attempt coming in 2014.
