Arsenal News: Legend’s drugs admission, Cech attitude revealed, new star on career path

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has admitted drugs almost killed his career. The former Gunners striker was smoking marijuana while progressing at Crystal Palace, prior to his Highbury days. But a close call with testers after a game against West Brom at the age of 21 made him change his ways. “It’s the first time I’d ever seen them and I panicked inside – I’ve been smoking cannabis, less than 24 hours earlier, and if that test comes back positive that’s it.
