Arsenal News: Ozil contract saga settled, Wenger hails smart star, hero shuns Giroud
Mesut Ozil has reportedly signed a new deal at Arsenal. The Gunners have been trying to sort their playmaker’s future for some time. But according to German newspaper Bild, an agreement has now been reached. Their journalist, Henning Feint, tweeted: “Mesut (Ozil) gets a new mega contract with Arsenal. It states he will now wear the number 10 instead of 11. It will be in papers tomorrow (Wednesday).” The length of the 27-year-old’s deal is unknown as yet, but it is claimed Jack Wilshere will lose his number to the World Cup winner.
