Liverpool defender could leave in Jan, may follow Jack Wilshere to same rehab centre

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez was an instant hit at Anfield following his 2015 arrival from Charlton Athletic. The versatile teenager started Liverpool's first five Premier League games last season, before injury struck. A knee problem picked up in September cut his first campaign with the Reds very short and he then went on to suffer another setback over the summer. However, the 19-year-old is now back in training and ready to make his much-awaited comeback. Long-term, Gomez could be a very good player for the Reds, but he could be loaned out in January, with Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town both keen on taking him, according to the Liverpool Echo.
