Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck could return from injury as soon as January, report the Express. The striker suffered a serious knee injury in May which required surgery, but Wenger has claimed that he could be back earlier than expected: 'He's ahead of schedule and he'll be back in January.' The Express also report that Welbeck could be running within the next few weeks, but Wenger has insisted he will not rush the 25-year-old back into contention.
