Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick: 'Arsene Wenger can take us forward'

Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick has claimed that the board are "confident" that manager Arsene Wenger can continue to take the club forward, but have not yet made a decision regarding a new contract. The Frenchman, who recently celebrated his 20-year anniversary since taking over at the North London club, comes to the end of his current deal next summer. Wenger previously expressed fear of retirement, but neither he nor the club have revealed whether or not the 67-year-old will remain in charge next season.
