(Picture) Arsenal extend condolences to family & friends of Brazil legend

Brazil national team legend Carlos Alberto died aged 72 today in Rio de Janeiro from a heart attack according to the BBC. Alberto was part of the famous 1970 Brazil side that won the World Cup in a team comprised of the likes of Pele, Jairzinho, Tostao and Rivelino. The former Brazil star scored one of the most memorable World Cup goals in the 1970 final against Italy, wrapping up a team move with a powerful low finish. Alberto did not play or coach Arsenal but that did not stop the North London based outfit sending out a tweet extending their condolences to the family and friends of the footballing legend.
