Arsenal still put profit over success, nothing has changed - Paul Merson

Arsene Wenger hails Alexis Sanchez's abilities as a striker after the Chilean's three-goal effort at West Ham. Arsenal legend Paul Merson has accused his former employers of putting profits before success and suggested the club's hierarchy is failing supporters by refusing to spend big money in the transfer market. Merson, who won two league titles with Arsenal, has claimed that Arsene Wenger's class of 2016 are unlikely to end the club's long wait for success in either the Premier League or Champions League. Wenger has not guided Arsenal to Premier League title since 2004 and has failed to win Europe's top prize over the course of his 20-year reign as manager -- losing out in the 2006...
