England quartet pull out of Italy clash

After an emphatic 4-0 victory over Lithuania at Wembley, England will face Italy in an international friendly next week without four key players. Danny Welbeck, James Milner and Leighton Baines have all returned to their respective clubs, while Raheem Sterling will also head back to Liverpool. Arsenal forward Welbeck netted in Friday night’s victory to see him top the goalscoring charts for European Championships qualifying with six strikes. Milner is set to sit out the friendly fixture agains the Azzurri and will head back to Manchester City, while Baines has a slight injury and returns to Everton.
