Transfer News: Arsenal exit exclusive, Chelsea meeting set, £50m Man United successor

Carl Jenkinson is set to join Crystal Palace and leave Arsenal on a permanent basis. The 24-year-old right-back has fallen out of favour under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates. And Express Sport understands Sam Allardyce is ready to set up a reunion, having managed Jenkinson at West Ham. The Hammers and Aston Villa have also shown interest in landing the defender this month, but Palace are expected to make him their first January signing. Having spent the past two seasons on loan with West Ham, Arsenal are ready to offload Jenkinson with Hector Bellerin’s future now secure.
