Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has defended record signing Mesut Ozil after recent reports (via Bild) suggested that the German was partying in Berlin hours after missing Arsenal's games against Newcastle with illness. Ozil was given permission by Wenger to go to Berlin ahead of the international break after he missed the game at St James's Park according Germany boss Joachim Low (via Goal).
