It has been reported that under-fire England forward Theo Walcott insists he is welcoming the competition for an England starting position under Roy Hodgson. The Arsenal winger had not played for the Three Lions since September 2013 prior to Friday night’s 76th-minute appearance in the 4-0 Euro2016 qualifying win over Lithuania at Wembley.
