Reports have emerged claiming that Manchester City are plotting a massive bid for Tottenham star Dele Alli. The Sunday Express says City are ready to launch a world-record bid for Alli. The Tottenham star's meteoric rise has seen him targeted by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Spurs are desperate to hold onto the 20-year-old midfielder, who was named January's Premier League Player of the Month after scoring five goals. But City could be prepared to pay more than the £89million rivals Manchester United splurged on Paul Pogba to land Alli. Pep Guardiola is planning a mega £200M spending spree this summer in order to replace up to 11 first-team stars.
