Chelsea's £52m bid, Arsenal approach confirmed, Man United deal lined up, Liverpool demand
Chelsea reportedly made a £52million bid for Marquinhos last summer. The Blues, along with Manchester United and Barcelona, all attempted to sign him, but his agent Giuliano Bertolucci has confirmed the French club never had any intentions of selling the defender. "The president of PSG never wanted to negotiate a transfer, neither with Barca nor with anyone," he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo. "Last summer there was a €60m (£52m) proposal for Marquinhos and he rejected it." And French publication Le 10 Sport claim the huge offer came from Chelsea. GETTY
