Former Arsenal great Robert Pires thinks Arsene Wenger will sign a contract extension with the club, saying his fellow Frenchman remains "motivated and willing" to stay on as manager. Pires, who still trains regularly with Arsenal's first team and is in frequent contact with Wenger, expects the 67-year-old to defy his critics by remaining in charge for a 22nd season. The Arsenal boss is out of contract at the end of the current campaign but is considering whether to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
