The euphoria of beating Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday to reach their third FA Cup final in four years has finally lifted the gloom over the whole club. But seven defeats in the previous 13 games have left the club struggling for a top-four finish having found themselves in a deeper rut than anybody anticipated. It has led to question marks over manager Arsene Wenger’s future – still unresolved – and the accusation that there is a lack of leaders in the Emirates dressing room. “We had a difficult period where we lost games we shouldn’t have lost and then you are in a situation where you are under pressure and need to find a way out,” Cech admitted....
