Arsenal beat Sunderland 2-0 at the Emirates on Tuesday night to keep their slim hopes alive thanks to a double from Alexis Sanchez. But fans boycotted the side and Arsene Wenger’s running of the club by staying away.  The official attendance was close to 60,000 but pictures show the true figure to be closer to 40,000. The victory leaves Arsenal a point below Liverpool going into the final game of the season and three behind Manchester City. Arsenal face Everton at home on the final day of the season this Sunday and need Liverpool to slip up against Middlesbrough at Anfield.
