U.S. U20 and Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem has torn ACL - report

Gedion Zelalem has been on loan to VVV Venlo. U.S. and Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem could be out for up to nine months after injuring his knee while on international duty, according to a report. Zelalem started his country's 3-3 draw with Ecuador at the Under-20 World Cup but was substituted with the injury in the 34th minute. Football London reported that he had torn his ACL.  A source told N FC: "It looks [that] way," when asked about a torn ACL, saying the player would see a consultant in his homeland.
