Arsenal boss Wenger attempts to convince star to stay via text

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been texting Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez in an attempt to try and keep the highly-rated winger at the club, according to the Sun. Gunners both Wenger expects the forward to remain in North London and see out the remain year he has left on his deal at the Emirates ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, as per the Sun. As reported by the Sun, Sanchez, who has attracted interest from the Gunners' Premier League rivals Man City, is currently on holiday due to Chile's participation in the Confederations Cup, whilst his Arsenal teammates are on a pre-season tour of Australia.
