Dan Crowley departs Arsenal for Willem II on three-year contract

Teenage midfielder Dan Crowley has left Arsenal to join Willem II on a three-year deal, the Dutch club have confirmed. Crowley, who was often compared to Jack Wilshere because of his similar stature and playing style, had one year left on his Arsenal contract but has chosen to return permanently to the Eredivisie after spending last season on loan at Go Ahead Eagles.
