Arsenal give green light for Jack Wilshere to leave: Sampdoria already made £6.2m offer

Wilshere, 25, has endured an injury-plagued career thus far and has seen himself fall down the pecking order at Arsenal.  He joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan last season in a bid to prove his worth and resurrect his career.  The England international made 29 Premier League appearances for the Cherries, but his injury curse continued after he suffered a fractured leg in April.  Wilshere has since returned to Arsenal as he bids to step up his recovery in time for the new season.  Arsenal transfers: Which stars are most likely to sign?
