Crystal Palace have reportedly made progress in their attempts to sign Calum Chambers from Arsenal this summer. The Eagles are understood to have seen a £16m offer rejected for the defender earlier this summer, with the Gunners valuing Chambers at closer to £25m. However, The Guardian reports that the two clubs remain optimistic that an agreement can be reached over a permanent transfer, with Palace having also considered a loan move for the 22-year-old.
