Arsenal have opened talks with Sporting to sign William Carvalho - Tancredi Palmeri
And Portuguese newspaper Record say the transfer move could go through as Carvalho wants to join the Gunners.Palmeri tweeted this morning: “Arsenal are in talks with Sporting for William Carvalho.”Arsene Wenger’s men came close to signing the Portugal international, 25, last year only for him to stay at Sporting. Now that could all change and crucial to any deal is Carvalho’s agent Pere Guardiola, the brother of Manchester City boss Pep.Carvalho’s preference is to move to Arsenal.
