Jack Wilshere plays for Arsenal U23s as he steps up injury comeback

Jack Wilshere played his first game since April by completing 73 minutes for Arsenal's under-23s on Monday as he steps up his recovery from an ankle fracture. Wilshere, 25, started next to Francis Coquelin in a central midfield role in the 3-2 comeback win over Derby, as both players aim to return to full match fitness after injuries. It was Wilshere's first game in an Arsenal shirt in nearly a year, having spent last season on loan at Bournemouth.
