Santi Cazorla left out of Arsenal's Premier League squad

Arsenal have left Santi Cazorla out of their Premier League squad for the first half of the season as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury. Cazorla, 32, has been out of action since last October, having picked up his injury during the 6-0 Champions League win over Ludogorets. The Spain international was initially expected to return the following November but had to have ankle surgery that December in Sweden, before having a graft done earlier this year and then going under the knife again in February.
