Arsene Wenger: 'Kieran Gibbs was not offered new deal'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club decided not to offer Kieran Gibbs a new deal before he made the decision to leave for West Bromwich Albion over the summer. The 27-year-old left-back called time on his 13-year association with the Gunners in order to move to the Midlands on a four-year deal worth a reported £7m, having entered the final 12 months of his existing contract with Wenger's side.
