Paris Saint-Germain 'leapfrog Manchester City in race for Alexis Sanchez'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly at the front of the queue to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez next summer after agreeing to better Manchester City's wage offer. The Chile international is almost certain to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the campaign as a free agent, having turned down the club's offer of a new contract. Sanchez was close to joining the Citizens on deadline day in a £60m transfer, only for Arsenal to pull the plug late on after missing out on replacement attacker Thomas Lemar of AS Monaco.
