Chelsea back supporters' fears about Christmas Eve fixtures
It is understood Sky Sports are considering moving fixtures from December 23 to Christmas Eve to fill their allocated Sunday afternoon slots. Arsenal’s visit of Liverpool and Manchester United’s trip to Leicester City have been mooted as potential games for live coverage on the Sunday. All clubs involved are said to be pushing back hard against the proposals. It has also been suggested that Chelsea’s match against Everton at Stamford Bridge could also be moved.
