Arsenal given boost in Mesut Ozil contract stalemate?

Mesut Ozil has reportedly failed to attract any serious offers for his services and could stick with Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract. The Germany international was widely expected to depart the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season when his existing deal expires. Manchester United and Inter Milan have recently been tipped to move for the soon-to-be free agent but, according to The Sun, the 28-year-old faces an embarrassing climbdown as no other team is prepared to match his wage demands.
