Arsenal news: Watford's Richarlison escapes diving ban after panel review

The Brazilian was accused of diving after a coming together in the area with Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin. Referee Neil Swarbrick awarded a penalty which Troy Deeney converted to equalise and Tom Cleverly won all three points in stoppage time with his goal. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was furious with Swarbrick’s decision, describing it as “scandalous”. But according to BBC Sport, Richarlison will not be punished.  A three-man panel consisting of a former referee, former manager and former player reviewed the incident this morning and decided it was not simulation by the player.
