Report: Manchester City to wait until summer for Alexis Sanchez swoop

Manchester City have reportedly shelved plans to move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in January. The Chilean is out of contract next year and speculation around his future dominated headlines throughout the summer. Sanchez was believed to be on the verge of signing for Man City, only for the Gunners to pull the plug on the move late on in the summer transfer window. According to The Mirror, the Citizens are still unhappy about how negotiations were handled for the 28-year-old's signature in August.
