Five years since Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin threw their shirts into crowd whilst forgetting extra time

Five years ago yesterday Arsenal men Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin created a moment of comedy gold so it only seems right to bring it back to the surface. After going 4-0 down to Reading in the League Cup the Gunners managed to rally and draw level in the 96th minute. Thinking that they had secured a replay both Giroud and Coquelin decided to throw their shirts into the crowd, only to be told that there was 30 minutes of extra time to play. Arsenal went on to win the tie 7-5 but despite the goals the actions of the two Frenchmen will be forever remembered.
