Loan Watch: Lucas, Asano and Nwakali in action

Lucas featured in Deportivo La Coruna’s 1-0 loss at home to Atletico Madrid, who took all three points with a last-minute goal from Thomas Partey. Takuma Asano played the full 90 minutes in Stuttgart’s 3-1 loss at Hamburg. The hosts opened the scoring after 20 minutes through Aaron Hunt, but Daniel Ginczek equalised from the spot following the break. However, two quick-fire goals from Filip Kostic and Jann-Fiete Arp saw off the visitors. Kelechi Nwakali played the first 59 minutes of VVV-Venlo’s 0-0 draw at home to NAC Breda.
