Real Betis 'eye January Jack Wilshere move'

Real Betis will reportedly make another attempt to sign Jack Wilshere in the January transfer window. Betis were strongly linked with a move for the Arsenal midfielder during the summer, but the 25-year-old decided to stay at the Emirates Stadium to fight for his place. Wilshere is yet to begin talks over a fresh deal with the Gunners, however, and his current contract will expire at the end of the current season. The Englishman made just his second Premier League appearance of the season against Manchester City on Sunday, but could not prevent his team from suffering a 3-1 defeat.
