Emmanuel Petit: 'Some Arsenal players don't give 100%'

Former midfielder Emmanuel Petit has claimed that some of Arsenal's first-team squad do not "give 100%" in every match. On Sunday afternoon, Arsenal suffered their fourth Premier League defeat of the season as the North London outfit lost 3-1 at Manchester City, a result which leaves the club in sixth place in the table. Petit - who made 116 appearances for the Gunners between 1997 and 2000 - has suggested that motivation has become a problem at the Emirates Stadium, as well as saying that the squad is lacking "spirit".
