Wilshere’s contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the current campaign and, as of yet, the Gunners have been unable to tie him down to an extension. The England international only returned to the Emirates in the summer off the back of a successful stint with Bournemouth. Newcastle have been mooted as a potential destination, with Rafa Benitez supposedly a fan of the England international.
