Massive boost for Tottenham just days ahead of Arsenal game

Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has declared himself fit for Saturday's North London derby against Arsenal. What's the latest? The 30-year-old has been dealing with an ankle problem over the last fortnight or so, which led to concerns that he could be out of action for a spell. Last weekend, the speculation intensified when Vertonghen was left out of Belgium's 3-3 draw with Mexico in Brussels. However, fears were eased when Roberto Martinez included the centre-back in a 1-0 triumph over Japan on Tuesday evening.
