Mesut Ozil is demanding a huge signing-on fee to join Barcelona in January
Ozil is out of contract in the summer and can talk to other clubs from January. Barcelona are exploring the possibility of signing him as soon as January and have reportedly already spoken to his representatives. And AS claim he will demand a significant signing on fee because he knows he will only cost a small transfer fee with his contract ticking down. Ozil is an attractive option for Barca due to the fee - which could be around £17m - and the fact he can play in the Champions League knockout rounds. GETTY
