Real Madrid 'determined to sign Alexis Sanchez'

Real Madrid will reportedly look to hijack Manchester City's move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez, 28, came close to joining Man City during the summer, but the Gunners would not sanction the sale after failing to land Thomas Lemar from AS Monaco. The Citizens are still said to hold a keen interest in the Chilean, although according to Don Balon, Pep Guardiola's side will face serious competition from Real Madrid as the Spanish giants look to seal a deal.
