The duo have 18 months to run on their deals and Arsenal are keen to avoid the situation they find themselves in with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez again next year. Arsenal are also dealing with Jack Wilshere’s expiring contract and lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool. Ramsey and Welbeck have both suffered injuries and dips in form throughout their Arsenal careers but remain important players for the club.
