Arsene Wenger willing to bring in 'exceptional player' in January

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated that he is prepared to splash the cash this month if an "exceptional player" becomes available. The Gunners spent a club-record fee to bring in Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in the summer and missed out on the signing of Monaco's Thomas Lemar on deadline day. A number of players have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the lead up to the January transfer window, however, including France international Lemar, and Wenger will look to recruit if the circumstance is right.
