Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho given go-ahead to sign Mesut Ozil THIS month
Jose Mourinho has been exploring a deal for Ozil, who he previously worked with at Real Madrid. Ozil is out of contract at the end of the season and is widely expected to leave the Emirates. The German is likely to expect a huge signing-on fee in order to leave the Gunners. And now Mourinho has been given the go-ahead by United chiefs to strike a deal for Ozil, according to the Sunday Mirror. The report suggests United could pay as much as £35million to sign him this month.
