REUTERS Jack Wilshere was injured in Arsenal's game at Chelsea Wilshere had marshalled the Arsenal midfield as captain for the night. But the England World Cup hopeful was forced off just before the hour mark after a freak injury. The 26-year-old successfully charged down a cross but the ball seemed to twist his leg in the process. He went down holding the top of his left shin. The physio came on but after trying to run the injury off, Wilshere was replaced by Mohamed Elneny. Arsene Wenger confirmed after the 0-0 draw that Wilshere has suffered an ankle sprain.
