Arsene Wenger would be 'sad' to see Olivier Giroud leave Arsenal for Premier League rivals Chelsea

Arsene Wenger has admitted he will be sad to see Olivier Giroud leave the club, should he complete a deadline day move to London rivals Chelsea. The France international is expected to complete an £18 million move across London to join Antonio Conte’s side. However, the 31-year-old came on as a late substitute as Arsenal succumbed to a humiliating 3-1 defeat away to Swansea on Tuesday night in. Even though Giroud’s last appearance for the Gunners could be this embarrassing defeat, Wenger praised the striker’s commitment.
